Band 4 Medical Secretary to Oncology Clinicians
25 hours per week (Tuesday - Friday)
We are looking to appoint a Medical Secretary to provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration service to our Oncology clinicians.
The successful candidate must have the ability to deal with highly confidential and sensitive information. They will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as being effective as working within a team as well as working on their own imitative. Previous experience of working in a hospital setting is desirable, but not essential. The ability to be flexible, and work extra hours to provide cover for colleagues would be essential.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
